Emails from Xaller.ai
Xaller.ai sends three kinds of email: messages you need to run your account, call notifications you set up yourself, and optional emails you can turn off at any time.
Emails that always arrive
Section titled “Emails that always arrive”These are about your account’s security, billing, or service, so there is no unsubscribe link:
- Verifying your email, password resets, sign-in lockouts, and changes to your email, password, or two-step verification
- Team invitations and ownership transfers
- Trial, payment, plan, and subscription changes, including failed payments
- Usage alerts at 80% and 100% of your included minutes, and when you approach the overage ceiling
- Service messages such as your agent going live, your first call, a paused integration, a number about to be released, an export ready to download, or a closed account
- Replies to support requests
If you don’t want an account email, the only way to stop it is to close the account. Security emails are never optional.
Call notifications
Section titled “Call notifications”Call alerts by email, text, Slack, or webhook are destinations you configure in Settings → Notifications under Call notifications. They follow their own filters, not the categories below. Notifications and delivery explains how to change or remove them.
Optional emails
Section titled “Optional emails”| Category | What it contains | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Product updates and changelog | New features, changes to Xaller.ai, and reminders to finish setup | On |
| Tips and marketing | Ways to get more from your receptionist, and occasional news | On |
| Weekly summary | A Monday email with last week’s calls, minutes, leads, and follow-ups | On for the account owner; team members opt in |
Change these in Settings → Notifications under Emails from Xaller. Your choices follow your email address, so if the same address is the owner of one account and a team member of another, one setting covers both.
We don’t track opens or clicks in these emails.
Unsubscribe links
Section titled “Unsubscribe links”Every optional email has an unsubscribe link. It turns off that one category for that address without signing in, and your email program’s built-in unsubscribe button does the same. The page that opens shows your other optional categories so you can change them too.
Unsubscribe links don’t expire and only change email preferences. They never sign anyone in or show account details, so forwarding one doesn’t expose your account.
Bounces and spam reports
Section titled “Bounces and spam reports”If an address bounces permanently, we stop emailing it until the address is corrected. If someone marks one of our emails as spam, that address is opted out of optional emails. Most account emails to a bounced address stop too (email verification and password resets are still attempted), so keep the owner’s address current in Settings → Profile.
Waitlist emails
Section titled “Waitlist emails”If you joined the waitlist, we only send the launch and early-access news you agreed to, and every message has an unsubscribe link. You can leave the waitlist at any time by replying to one of our emails.
Our privacy policy describes how we use your information and your choices about communications.
