Get started with Xaller.ai

Xaller.ai answers calls using the business information and instructions you provide. Start with a small, accurate setup and test it before forwarding customer calls.

  • Your business name, timezone, opening hours, service area, and contact details.
  • The services you offer, questions callers ask, and what your receptionist must never promise.
  • Access to the phone service that currently receives your calls.
  • A separate phone for testing and a reachable number for fallback.

Open Xaller.ai. If registration is open, create an account and verify your email. If the site shows a waitlist, join it to hear when access opens. Choose business details that describe your actual operation.

Complete the business questionnaire. Review the resulting agent settings, greeting, language, hours, and knowledge. Remove assumptions, outdated prices, and any instruction that could promise work your business cannot perform.

Use a test call to ask about a real service, leave a message, and try a question the agent should decline to answer. Review the resulting call record. Test calls use your minute allowance.

In Number, choose whether customers will call your existing business number, your new Xaller.ai number, or decide later. For an existing number, confirm its phone service and supported coverage. Finish the checklist and Go live to activate your receptionist. Only then follow the product-specific forwarding guide and set a verified fallback number. You can resume an unfinished connection from Phone.

Call your business line from another phone. Confirm the receptionist answers, the conversation appears in Calls, and a notification reaches the right person. Test any transfer destination and confirm the fallback does not route back into Xaller.ai.

Ensure your business handles any caller notices and permissions that apply to recording and automated answering. Review security and privacy, minute limits, and the carrier’s steps for disabling forwarding. Tell your team who owns follow-ups and how to revert the route.

After your first live calls, review the results and improve missing answers. Change one setting at a time so you can see what helped.
