T-Mobile Wireless call forwarding

Back to all carriers

Use the number assigned in Phone. See the placeholder guide before entering a code. Availability and charges depend on your service and plan.

These steps apply only to T-Mobile Wireless. If this is not your phone product, choose Other or ask your provider.

Dial the codes from the T-Mobile phone that carries your business number. Enter the destination as 1 followed by the ten digits; T-Mobile forwards only to 10- or 11-digit US numbers, not to international numbers.

Activate your receptionist in Xaller.ai before turning on forwarding. Your existing line does not connect automatically.

Procedure reviewed: 2026-10-13. Live carrier test: not performed. A source review is not proof that this procedure works on every plan.

  1. Open the phone app on the business phone and dial this code. Code or destination: **21*{us11}#.
  2. Press call. Wait for the confirmation message.
  • Dial this code and press call to stop forwarding. ##21#

Call your business number from a different phone. Your phone should not ring and your receptionist should answer.

  1. Dial this code to forward calls you don’t answer. Code or destination: **61*{us11}#.
  2. Dial this code to forward calls when the line is busy. Code or destination: **67*{us11}#.
  3. Optional: T-Mobile lets you choose how long your phone rings first (5 to 30 seconds) by adding two asterisks and the number of seconds before the final # of the no-answer code.
  • Turn no-answer forwarding off. ##61#
  • Turn busy forwarding off. ##67#
  • To return missed and busy calls to T-Mobile’s default handling, normally your voicemail, dial this code. ##004#

Call your business number from a different phone and let it ring without answering; your receptionist should answer. For busy, start a call on the business phone first, then call it from a second phone.

T-Mobile lines can’t forward on a schedule.

Use Forward when we don’t pick up if it fits your needs.

  • Calls go straight to voicemail or forwarding seems stuck? Dial ##004# and ##21# to reset forwarding, then set it up again.
  • Code rejected? Check you entered 1 and all ten digits with no spaces, then dial 611 from the phone for T-Mobile support.
  • Your receptionist answers too soon or too late? Change the no-answer ring time as described in the optional step.

Call from another phone. Check that your receptionist answers, the call appears in Calls, and your expected notification arrives. Test busy and no-answer behavior separately. If anything fails, turn forwarding off and troubleshoot the route.

Return to Phone, start a five-minute check and call your existing business number from a separate phone. Do not dial the assigned destination for this check. Let the selected condition happen, listen for your receptionist, say a few words and hang up. Confirm the matching call only if it was your test and it worked. An arrival alone is not success. No-answer and busy each need their own test; after-hours needs the phone-service schedule and time zone.

Tested with you records this one test, not continuous carrier verification. If it fails, check the product, destination, permissions and condition, or restore previous handling using the undo steps above.

Your missed calls normally go to T-Mobile voicemail. No-answer forwarding to Xaller.ai replaces that route until you turn it off or reset it with ##004#. Busy forwarding applies when a call arrives while you are on another call. Forwarding all calls stops your phone ringing. Charges depend on your plan.

Pausing Xaller.ai does not turn off carrier forwarding. To restore previous handling, change the settings at your phone provider.
